Salads. My favourite. They are healthy, easy to prepare, inexpensive and tasty to the boot.
What’s not to love about salads? Here are some of the salads I’ve either bought or prepared myself…
Carrots, cucumber, tomatoes, artichokes, avocado, rocket leaves and peri-peri chicken dressing
Black olives, spinach base, artichokes, flat green beans with a ginger and lemon dressing
This one turned a bit to citus-y, but the ingredients were: onion, gherkin, tomatoes, ham slices, cucumber with cheddar cheese strips on top
Steamed chicken breast, cucumber, tomatoes, carrots and all bhujia (thin fried rice size potato chips)
Spinach, tomatoes, artichokes, cucumber and lemon dressing with a pinch of salt
