Who am I?

Hi there! Thanks for visiting my blog. Here’s a little bit about me:

I qualified as a medical doctor in April 2019 and currently work in the UK for the National Health Service (NHS). I also gained a degree in Biomedical Science in 2015.

I am highly passionate about health education, health awareness and the advancement of healthcare in all areas. My particular interests are in internal medicine.

In my free time I enjoy writing and cooking. I try and stick to an exercise regime and meet up with people I care about as often as I can.

I try and be as optimistic about life as possible and hopefully that is reflected in my blog.

In this blog you’ll find a lot of medical snippets, my opinions on practically everything and some guidance/information on getting into medical school. If you’d like to contact me personally please leave a comment here or connect with me on on twitter or on LinkedIn I have also started putting up Vlogs (Video logs) about medical related things. Do check it out. My Vlog

Take care!

    • Hi Aarish. I did a 3 year Biomedical Science course. I applied to study a 4 year medical course in my final year of Biomed. The first year was equivalent to the first two years of a normal 5 year MBBS course. I’m now in my second year of medicine which is actually the equivalent of third year of a 5 year MBBS course. Hope that answers your question 🙂
