Who am I?

Hi there! Thanks for visiting my blog. Here’s a little bit about me:

I am a 25 year old female in my final year of medical studies in the UK. In 2015 I gained a degree in Biomedical Sciences (BSc Hons).

Alongside training to be a doctor, I help out with teaching at the university. I also have been working alongside admissions staff for medical school interviews as a role-play actor. I have a lot of experience with personal statements for medical school and also interview preparation.

In my free time I enjoy writing and cooking. Running and music are a part and parcel of my daily routine and Netflix is never too out of reach 😉

I try and be as optimistic about life as possible and hopefully that is reflected in my blog.

In this blog you’ll find a lot of medical snippets, my opinions on practically everything and some guidance/information on getting into medical school. If you’d like to contact me personally please leave a comment here or connect with me on on twitter or on LinkedIn

I have also started putting up Vlogs (Video logs) about medical related things. Do check it out. My Vlog

Take care!

You entered Medicine course after graduating in Bio med science right ? Does that mean you joined the 2nd year of MBBS course or whats the difference ?

    • Hi Aarish. I did a 3 year Biomedical Science course. I applied to study a 4 year medical course in my final year of Biomed. The first year was equivalent to the first two years of a normal 5 year MBBS course. I’m now in my second year of medicine which is actually the equivalent of third year of a 5 year MBBS course. Hope that answers your question 🙂
